Shaylee is a stunner. She inherited her mother’s prominent facial bone structure. She has high cheekbones and her cheeks themselves are not full. Her complexion is somewhat pale and very clear. She has a small nose, with full rosy lips. Though her beautiful long locks are blonde, her darkly rimmed blue eyes are framed with lengthy, dark lashes. She is slim with a feminine figure, though not overly curvy. Shay is also rather short if she isn’t wearing any heels.

Personality :
PROUD… It is extremely rare for Shaylee to ever admit her fault and she’ll never go out in public unless she deems herself to be presentable. She almost always assumes she is correct in whatever she happens to be doing. Having said that, she isn’t entirely ignorant either – she just thinks things through before she acts.
PERSONABLE… It doesn’t matter in what circumstances you may have met her. Shaylee isn’t one to find situations to be awkward. The way she sees it, whatever happened just happened and she won’t be embarrassed about it because there just isn’t any point. She isn’t incredibly funny or abnormally charismatic but she’s just easy going and doesn’t worry over the little things – therefore many find her to be pleasant company, despite her tell-it-as-it-is way of speech.
HONEST… As previously mentioned, she doesn’t exactly hold back. She isn’t generally rude about it but she isn’t going to not say what’s on her mind. Shay will usually just find a way to speak her thoughts without being brutal about it. Her honesty doesn’t mean she skips down town to sing about her wonderful vampire life… but it does mean she’ll tell you that you have spinach in your teeth when you do.

History :
Shaylee Keira Noelle was born on the 8th of April in 1810 in a small town in America that has since died out. She was loved very much by her parents but Shay hated that once she was old enough, they always tried to talk her into marrying. She wasn’t quite ready, though she could never say so aloud. One day a charming young woman who appeared around the same age as Shaylee moved into town. Her name was Katherine Pierce.
She and Shaylee became friends. Shay had heard her parents talking about how Katherine’s family had all been ill, and she’d survived by a miracle. Shay was touched by the story and admired Katherine’s ability to stay so strong. Shaylee never asked her about her old town, because though the two were friends, Shay had always been a little nervous around Katherine. Katherine exuded a sense of danger – with her help, Shay had gotten to go to her first unsupervised party and done some very rebellious but fun things. Shay loved the adrenaline rushes that Katherine’s adventure always brought.
Unfortunately, there came a time where Katherine seemed to be on edge constantly. Shaylee began to worry about her, but she would never bring it up – even after their year of friendship, Shay was still a little frightened of the young woman. Around the same time Katherine’s edgy behaviour began, Shaylee’s parents forbade her to see her friend again. They’d heard of their exploits.
After a month or so of this uncertainty, Shaylee was woken in the middle of the night by someone tapping on her window. She saw Katherine outside with her handmaid. Shaylee crept carefully out of the house to greet her. Katherine told her she was leaving, but that she had one last escapade for them. Shaylee followed her and her maid down a trail into the woods, thinking about how much trouble she would be in the next day. That night, Katherine turned Shaylee into a vampire.
Their ‘friendship’ didn’t last long after she was turned. Shaylee hated all the dishonesty and hated her for what she made her become. They’d travelled to a new town after she’d been turned, having left what seemed to be evidence of her death, but Shaylee left Katherine after that. She discovered she’d been used to appear normal and even then continued to be manipulated.
A couple of decades ago Katherine contacted Shaylee again. Shaylee had changed over the centuries, moving on from the old social customs. Thinking back, Shaylee was almost amused when she thought of Katherine, as she understood now… the ability not to care about moral principles also calmed her dislike of Katherine.
They re-connected briefly, having gone to a couple of parties and flirted with a few men. Shaylee decided ultimately that though their friendship was bizarre and twisted, they’d simply had too much fun for her to forget it. She was still thinking Katherine simply didn’t care at all, but weirdly it didn’t matter for her – they were mutually using each other to have a false reality of friendship to have a good time. It helped Katherine gave her a bewitched necklace that allowed her to walk in the sunlight. “So we aren’t restricted to night clubs… Wreaking havoc in the day can be enjoyable as well,” she’d said.
Shaylee moved into Mystic Falls a couple of years ago out of morbid curiosity. When she’d last met Katherine she heard all about the scandals from 1864. Now she leads a comfortable un-dead life, as far as vampire standards go. With her own small home near the outskirts and a job at the Mystic Grill, Shaylee is content to stay for awhile yet.
