Eve has kept their secret . .
“All of this has happened before; but the question remains, does it have to happen again?
{{{let's start from the basics}}}
Name : Evelyn Joy Hart
Nicknames : Eve
Age : 17
Specie : Human
{{{and we don't mind how you look}}}
Appearance :
At 5’5 and 110lbs, Evelyn maintains a healthy weight for her size. With thick honey brown hair and chocolate eyes, Evelyn is also graced with barely-there freckles. Her eyebrows are shapely and slightly darker than her natural hair colour and she has dark lashes that don’t need any exaggeration. Very lucky for a girl in school, her complexion is quite clear, though she isn’t as tanned as she’d like to be.
{{{but how you act}}}
Personality :
Evelyn is rather hypocritical. Ironically enough, she hates hypocrites. Eve often says things she doesn’t really mean a short flurry of passionate irritation then later gets discomfited with herself when she realizes she’s doing the exact same thing. If she happens to find herself in the midst of one of the really popular teens at school, its probable that she will agree with just about anything they say, even if they go against her own personal opinions. Most people are hypocritical, but the difference with Eve is she catches herself being that way often and will openly acknowledge it despite her embarrassment.
She’s also a procrastinator. Evelyn earns above average grades in school, but this is mostly due to her good memory and ability to work well under pressure. She knows this is an issue, especially since she plans on attending Duke after her high school career is up, but puts off ever doing anything about this problem because right now she has no need. From everything to writing essays to simply getting ready for meeting her friends, Eve works to the last minute.
Quite literal, Evelyn is very much a bookworm and gives that trait credit for her good memory and skills with making excuses/reasons. Some might mistake those aspects for being rational but a hypocritical procrastinator can’t really be called logical. Perhaps to preserve her dignity, Evelyn is highly able to discover various reasons of why she should procrastinate or why it’s fine for her to be hypocritical. Her literary skills make her seem much more reasonable than she really is and if you were to look in her purse, you would be guaranteed to at least find her ereader if not an actual novel.
All of this being said, she’s also a very passionate person. If Evelyn believes something to be true and you dare disagree, she’ll have a hard time to keep herself from trying to convince you otherwise. Her way with words allows herself to express those passions very clearly and amplifies her feelings accurately. Unfortunately Eve finds it easier to express her passion through negative outlets, whereas when she loves (specifically loving a person,) things seem to come out a little jumbled, though that doesn’t mean she feels anything less.

History :
Evelyn was born in Mystic Falls and has lived there since. Her mother is a receptionist at the local hospital but is lucky enough to have regular work week hours, so despite her father being away often for the military, Eve’s fortunate enough to have been raised by her parents and not a nanny. Her youngest years were full of the very typical toddler tantrums and adorable giggles. When she was two her parents bought an orange kitten and named her Willa. At the age of five, Evelyn’s two younger brothers, Chris and Nate, were born. Her childhood years were very ordinary. When she was old enough to go to school, she was ahead of the class in reading, while at home she was always competing with her brothers with everything.
By the time middle school rolled around, Evelyn was firmly planted into a work week schedule. Every morning once she arrived at school she would find her favourite little corner in the hall, put in her ear buds, finish her homework and read a book. It wasn’t that Eve was anti-social, she just never felt the need to be outgoing if she didn’t particularly feel like it. Most days, she didn’t. She thought the company of the characters in her novels were good enough. During the lunch hour she would eat her lunch with a couple of friends and that was the extent of her social life. Eve was okay with that.
High school was a different story. Almost right away, Evelyn found herself getting close to a boy named Julian. He was a lot of what she wasn’t, but she found herself laughing more around him than anyone else, except for maybe her dad. Eve teased him about his name, Julian Shadmen; she isn’t one to withhold when it comes to that, seeing as she does have two younger brothers. After falling into the habit of calling him Ryan and feeling increasingly comfortable around him, Evelyn soon developed her first crush. Ryan was handsome and her best friend, after all. Unfortunately, his more unethical habits became a bigger deal once she found herself associated to him in that way. Her mom would always ask if Ryan was still drinking with the other teens every now and then and Evelyn became tired of his constant egotism. Eve broke it off with Ryan. Though what started as a crush had certainly turned into something else, she didn’t want to deal with it anymore. Secretly she still wonders why exactly she did broke up with him.
Ironically enough, since Evelyn was still friends with Ryan, she actually went with him to some of those parties occasionally after they’d decided to just be friends. He was still clearly much more carefree than herself, but Eve was finding herself to loosen up, just a little. Her grades still took priority over a social life but Evelyn was hanging out with her friends more in high school than ever before. It was a good thing because Evelyn sometimes wonders if Ryan would get half as good of grades as he does now if it weren’t for her. Evelyn also plays soccer for Mystic Fall’s high school girl’s team (right defence) and is a part of the French club (which she prefers not to tell people if they don’t already know.)
These days, Evelyn is still hanging out with Ryan and their other friends. She’s still playing soccer and goes to the French club meetings every Thursday at lunch. Life has been fairly normal, if you don’t count all the creepy recent attacks in Mystic Falls. Eve is always put in a melancholy state when those are mentioned; she knew a few of the victims and so soon after Dr Gilbert and his wife’s death, it was tragic for the small town. To make matters a little worse, Willa is getting to be quite old and Eve has been a little worried that she may have to say goodbye to her little feline quite soon. Evelyn’s father is currently at home from his tour of duty, so she’s been plenty preoccupied with juggling family time and homework. Despite her happiness her dad is home and safe, she’s also been itching to spend more time with her friends lately, so she’s made a resolve to try to do that.
