Its been five years since the senshi said goodbye to the starlights and resigned themselves to live normal lives. With the threat of darkness gone their was no reason to continue their vigilance and so they focused on their school and careers. Now most of the senshi are out of college and working their dream jobs with little free time. But their peace won't last forever, a newer darkness is brewing on the horizon, one that will take their reuniting to stop.
The Starlights bring bad news. A group called the Dark Moon have set earth as their newest conquest, searching for the materials necessary to resurrect their fallen leader. They are each gifted with their own power, a power that aligns with the zodiac, and, most importantly, they need to prey on the living in order to continue existing. They are vampires searching for a hidden relic that will resurrect their leader; the only one who knows how to lift the curse on their half existence.
With the arrival of the Starlights on earth again the senshi know that something dark is coming their way and they can only hope to catch it in time. But the many years that have passed now have divided them, a move that could prove fatal if they do not band together and take out the threat of the Dark Kingdom before it's too late.
